Hello all,

I have a problem with an increase of private bytes and working set on PcVue.
But I don't know in which way searching the cause of it ? Did anyone has a problem like that before ?

For your information, PcVue is just used in this project as display. There aren't treatments done by PcVue. There is only data reading by PcVue on an OPC server.

It can happens unfortunately.

Can you reproduce it?
Can you see some counters with big values in the audit?
It can be interesting to test with version 11 and new audit tools to see what happen.

Hi Loick,

In such case, the only solution is to proceed by dichotomy as Ludo suggests.
It sounds strange PcVue has memory leaks when used as OPC Server. Many projects run like that.

Could it be possible, in order to make a platform, to get the OPC client and ask for the specific behaviour?
Number of items, polling or notification? Configuration file, update rate and so on.

If the memory leak can be noticed in 1 hour. Could it be possible on the integrator platform or on site to stop temporarily the OPC client?

If possible, launch the project to its minimum (Station.dat, Varexp.dat and Comm.dat for example)
