How do we communicate to the latest Rockwell PLCs via compact logix, control logix over ethernet, using the ethernet/ip protocol. Currently, the Pcvue has serial driver (rs linx) for the older series like PLC3, SLC500

Hello
As far as I know the best way to connect a Rockwell PLC with PcVue is OPC with the RSLinx OPC server

Hello,

I agree with Francois,one of our SI is using RSLinx OPC server to communicate with Controllogix PLC. They are hastening us to develop ethernet/ip protocol as soon as possible.
