Hello Everyone!
Our customers in Italy are starting to use IEC-61850, but my skills on it are very poor. Can you help me to answer some questions? :S
- My customer can export, from his Siemens electrical protection devices, .SCD & .ICD & .CID files. Which files PcVue can read directly?
- If .SCD files are not available from devices, how is possible to map items on PcVue? I suppose by browse the device, if supported, right?
- It is possible (or it does have a sense?) to “link” a .CID and/or .ICD file for each device in the PcVue project?
Since I need to start studying IEC-61850, who can suggest me a good simulator (better if it’s free or demo-mode allowed)? :dry:

PcVue doesnt read any file 🙂

Yes it is. Actually it's the only way!

Again, no config file management.
