Hi everyone,
one of my customer search a way to take informations from this solution : GVE (GlobalViewer Entrerprise) Extron : http://www.extron.com/company/article.aspx?id=gve2ad
He finds that they have an API and even a REST API.
So I ve got 2 questions :
- Have you any experience between PcVue & GVE?
- It exists some OPC server Json/rest like those : http://www.softwaretoolbox.com/webservice2opc/ ou http://www.connexsoft.com/html/dascxsjson_opc.html. Is it something that someone already tried?

Hi Manu,
No specific experience with GVE but with another one.
We decided to develop a gateway through the Manager Toolkit.
Also, I think Kepware has a Json/Rest driver on their KEPServer.

Hmmm new protocol is quite a big word!
We got some data from a product publishing them by a REST API (Json format)
This server published several services but we used only some of them...
Take care, so far we did only the specifications and waiting order from our customer. Not done.... :whistle:
