Have a pleasant day guys.
Anyone in our team have documentation or experience on communicating PcVue with Allen Bradley - Compact Logix 1769-L30ER. It is a Ethernet/IP model

According to the protocol list, it need RSLinx OEM.

Should I used the OPC communication or the Equipment for the configuration .

YOu should use OPC communication, but Manu Duval developped new Ethernet IP protocol.

It will be provided as a new feature for PcVue 12.

You can ask him to provide you dll and information.

Solution :-

PcVue version 11.2 upward
Please refer the KB 854

PcVue version 11.1 and below

Use RSlinx OEM (OPC Server)

In that case since Control Logix PLC uses tag and not table you have to use the OPC client.
We tell him what he MUST use for the communication to work.
As for the choice of the OPC server, of course you can use any OPC server

• RSLinx OEM
• Matrikon OPC
• Kepware
• Etc..

The native driver use the RSLinx C API
