Hello,

a customer has a problem regarding his LNS database with PcVue 8.0.

When the customer had the database in the default folder everything was fine.

They had to put the database on a network drive now and since then, it seems PcVue can't find the database anymore.

In the Lonworks communication configuration some equipments are missing and the existing equipments are marked with a yellow exclamation mark.

Does anyone have an idea about this issue?

Is there some way to reconfigure the path of the database?

Thanks very much!

Daniel

hello,

I have some question:
-how did the customer change the database folder?
-which lonworks configurator do they use? (lonmaker or NL220)
-using this configurator, do they see lns node?

The customer just copied the whole folder with any changes of the structure from c:LM to z:LM.

They are using Lonmaker Turbo R3.2, SR2.

Yes, they can see the node in Lonmaker. The configuration was changed accordingly to z:LM.

He said that he cannot find a configuration possibility to set the path in PcVue. Is this possible at all?

Hi everyone,

Just FYI, the issue was resolved.

Access mode was set to remote ip and the database was imported in LonMaker again.

Now everything works fine again!

Daniel
