Hello,

I have a nice question from a Slovenian integrator.
All of us know that PcVue can act as WebServices Server.

But... what about the reverse? In other words, what would be the fastest way to poll an external WebServices server and write the result into a PcVue variable?

I'm figuring that probably the a "clean" way can be the follow:
PcVue SvMgr ...code to read WS... WS Server

Any other options/experience and/or someone have already done something to take a look inside?

Thankyou! :cheer:

It is maybe not the only solution but for sure the most appropriate.

In theory you could also imagine a web services client in VBA and certainly also as a Cimway driver. An additional option could be a hub solution which acts as a client to the 3rd party web services host as well as client to the PcVue web services.
In terms of performance and integration into PcVue the SvMgr is definitely first choice.
