Hi,
A customer gets the quality "SPEC" in some variables (register and alarm). I have never seen this quality...
The source of the variables is OPC Client, and the timedate is given by the PLC.
Do you know what this quality means?
Thanks,
Claudia
Hello,
Accordingly to the help NS SPEC means:
Unavailable (invalid for specific reason) - In cases a quality flag is provided by the device, the variable is considered invalid because the configuration requires to set the status to Unavailable for the last received quality flag.
It sounds like the OPC server is providing a "bad" OPS quality wich is intrepretated as NS SPEC (for specific) in PcVue.
To better understand OPC quality you can check this other page:
https://www.pcvuesolutions.com/support/ProductHelp/PcVue/en/Content/HMI/Settings/Settings_Quality_Overview.php?Highlight=status%20spec
You might check the OPC quality of these variables with another OPC client.
