hello,

as we all know, when new alarm comes, pcvue can trigger email or sms to notify operators.

1. does pcvue support auto-voice-call when a alarm comes? that means, pcvue can make a call to somebody.

2. For SMS, do you know pcvue can work with what kind of modem? my customer wants to know what kind of modem he can buy...

BTW: There is characters limit in the "Subject"...it is better to be the same as PcVue 10's long variable name: 255 characters... :cheer:

1. Yes PcVue can do that. You must use the Microsoft ActiveX Text-to-speech. Each alarm trigger a VBA event that is use this component. Nono is using it in Japan.

2. Potentially any modem. It must be compliant with the standard Hayes command.

3. Subject limi: How much is the limit? Akmal just made the SMS qualification maybe he knows...Akmal?

PS: Shuquan please add a picture to your profile (otherwise I add it by myself 👿 )

Hello Nico,

Thanks for your quick reply.

1. But for point 1, it is not Text-to-speech, it needs to dial a phone number(pre-configured) to call the operators.

3. it can not be longer than "Can PcVue support auto-voice-call when alarm comes", except "Re:+subject".I say, 59 character is maximun.

1. Ok in this case your customer must use Alert software. It is done exactly for that.
