Can someone explain what each of these lines mean and impact of the PARAM.dat file.
If referring to the document provided in the addenda ~SvDocumentationAddendaEnglishPARAM_90_ENU.pdf, these were stated as unused or no information at all.

A customer asked me this and it is important as to be able to explain to his client what the possible implications or problems may be caused by changing these parameters, especially since he don't know what his clients do.
Hi,
Back to the roots, and this one is rude 😉
As the Param.pdf available in the DVD addenda has been purged of some of the best oldies (years ago), I digged in a paper folder I am keeping since my time at the tech support. All in French and not a good read if you want to stay psychologically safe...
What follows may be absolutely outdated (part or all), it is just to give an idea.
The rule is not to change anything manually in the param.dat unless otherwise stated by the R&D.
Tunning4: Used to be a series of settings for driving how to process out of bound values, and some positions for runtime dialog boxes.
Tunning5: Flow control for EQT
Tunning6: Flow control for LAN
Tunning7: A global timeout for printing, plus a couple others I do not know about
Tunning8 and Tunning9: No clue.
