PcVue 10 SP2 Release freezes during SMS test

Hello,

a customer of ours faces the issue that PcVue freezes when he is doing a sms account check, no matter which port he is using for the test. It also doesn't matter if a modem is connected or not.
He uses a 10 SP2 release version (Viewstar).

Did somebody else ever face such a behavior?

Update: I just reproduced it. SPR will be created.

I would suggest trying with Microsoft SMS Sender first...

Hi Nico,

according to Jin Chun this behavior existed since the beginning and is a result when no modem is connected or an unsupported modem.
And the fact that our customer was using a HUAWEI mobile stick makes it very likely that this was the reason.

This issue was fixed only for 11.1 so far.

Daniel, I disagree with the Jin Chun answer.
If the SMS is not supported or not plugged then PcVue must never freeze.
I advise you make a SPR.

I already did when I reproduced the issue.
As far as I know it will be fixed in 10 SP2 and 11.
11.1 is already fixed.
