Hi all,
I've a customer that is trying to use Wago CoDeSys Smart Generator to import a CoDeSys symbol file (.SYM) for the Supervisor. Unfortunately the import failed. The import works if using the example supplied in the PcVue training manual but not working when we used the symbol file generated by the client's Wago PLC. No error message displayed on event viewer except on the Smart Generator Wizard screen. Does Smart Generator produced its own logfiles and if there is where can I enable/find it? Files used are attached. Pls advised if there is specific format or codesys version that the client has to use to produce the .sym file. Currently he is using PcVue version 11 and Codesys version 2.3.9.42 . TQ

Actually the file is not there. Try to use Internet Explorer to add files. I have noticed that it works better than Firefox or Chrome.

I think Nico D. will be able to help you with Wago import.

Hi,
It is ok now. Apparently, need to fix on the Wago PLC side. The client didn't give a modbus address to each PLC tag. After he added the address, the SG works like a charm. TQ
