I received several support calls in these weeks from users unable to start their PcVue Remote Desktop session (PcVue 12), with this well known message:
After some checks, in all cases I discovered that service Startup type was reverted to "Manual" and the service did not restarted after a reboot, instead to be "Automatic" and "Running" (I made personally almost all of these configurations, so I'm sure of what I done):
After struggling a while, I discovered that if someone modify the service startup type, an entry on Windows log should be created with ID 7040:
Unfortunately I have no feedback from my customers (once I solved their issue they didn't checked the log),but I want to know if someone already met this issue.

I think you know but I want to add the information here.
If the customer or someone launchs the PcVue components registration (aicr.exe), services (SV Core Daemon, SV Core Session Host, ...) return to the default configuration because PcVue components registration unistalls and reinstalls services...
