Hello
The Marseille subway is using PcVue to supervised its tickets machine and other Ethernet device.
It monitors 456 devices with around 20 000 variables in total.
They are using V3 with authentication on nearly all their device and they are one of the few to use host name for their device.
Who can beat that?
Hi,
The Kuala Lumpur subway (KVMRT) monitors more than 700 SNMP devices. At this moment 29/32 stations are deployed.
I will give you more details when the project will be finished (SNMP var number + SNMP devices number + authentification + AA synchronisation time).
Subway process seems to be the leader in SNMP protocol. Now who can build the largest subway in the world?
I am sure we can beat this, because the SNMP protocole is great in PcVue.
Wait till the Korean start using SNMP 😉
The KVMRT application is now deployed.
- 600 devices
- 96 000 SNMP variables.
The application monitoar all the ticket machine on the line and uses the SNMP trap mechanism with hardly any pooling.
No polling, no fun B)
But all good job anyway.
What is a ticket machine ? It will disappear in 2021 in Paris ! No more ticket....no more snmp devices 😉
Don't worry, gates with SNMP appear everywhere.
Don't worry, gates with SNMP appear everywhere.
Still a ticket machine application.in France
- 1500 devices
- 225 000 SNMP variables.
The application monitor all the ticket machine on the line and uses the SNMP trap mechanism with hardly any pooling.
