Hello everyone,

Can PcVue support multi-touch? One of our customer wants to send two bits with two buttons respectively at the same time in order to avoid misoperation.

Thanks

Mark

Hi,

I had let the customer have a try,he said when he touched two 'send animation' buttons at the same time,no bits were set .So I just want to get a official result.

Best Regrads,
Mark

I never tested it but I am not surprised it not working.
As suggested by Ludo, the short answer, of why it is not working, is that it is both a technology issue and lack of functionality in the HMI: In order to implement multi-touch gesture technology we need to implement them in the HMI (I am assuming that the customer is using Windows 8) and implement the possibility of pushing 2 buttons at once: I must say that my first idea of implementing the technology was to be able to zoom with your fingers, not to push several buttons at once.
Don't take my word for it but some "touch" may work because some of the "multi-touch gesture" events may or may not be translated into "standard" mouse events.
