Hi All,
One customer want to make multiscreen application with 7 screen, one for the command and the six others for visualization.
In fact the six screens must be considered as one screen with two raw of 3 screen.
I don't know how PcVue can manage this kind of multi screen as the résolution can't be the same between one screen and the six others.
Do you have a idea?
Can he just configure 3 regions and use 2 mimic templates?
One mimic template with Y position at 0 and the other mimic template with Y position at 1024 (height of the screen)?
If you configure three region how do you open one mimic in a space compose with the 2 regions?
Hi Romain,
It is not easy having a project with different résolutions. Simply because PcVue considers regions as proportional. For 2 regions, the x position of the second region is half of the total width.
In that specific case, it is better having only 1 region.
As Ludo has answered, it can be combined with mimic template with the offset wanted by the customer for all mimics belonging to region 2.
The other solution is always apply an offset when mimic is saved and always use relative mimic open animation.

Hi everyone.
I just had this question : Is it possible to have 6 screens Region in PcVue. My answer was : 4 yes, and I have to ask if 6 is possible.
So is it possible?
thanks
Manu
Hello Manu,
I think this topic is answering yes to your question, isn't it?
Ludo
Hi Ludo,
the topic has 6 years, so I thought there's some changes about this.
the fact is that it's not a new project (Tridel, start 16 years ago). So to make those changes with offset to open mimics will be a hard job.
If the simple way is to stay at 4 screens I will answer this.
Manu
