Ciao a tutti!

I'm trying to make some tests for a possible opportunity in Iran for PcVue.

Requirements is to have a bilingual project: English (L1) and Persian (L2).

I'm able to display Persian string in a PcVue mimic, but not alarms:

I selected Arial - Persian font for string and alarm viewer:

I made these modifications on my Win 8.1 VM:

- Set Farsi (Persian) as input language
- Set language for non-unicode to Persian
- Set PcVue with ANSI,1 in PARAM.DAT
- Set the -ansi startup option for sv32.exe

Using Translation Import/Export tool I'm able to manage Mimic and Symbols but it seems that I'm not able to manipulate correctly VAREXP.DAT to inserting the second language (Persian) for alarm and log strings.

Can you please refresh me the correct procedure?

Thankyou!!! :cheer:

Ciao Filippo,

See KB806 or KB368.
Do you try too to change the regional options in Windows control panel ?
When I test a langage, I change only in control panelregion the format, the location and the administrativelanguage for non-Unicode programs. And that works !

A presto,
Sylvie

Ciao Sylvie!!

Thank you very much for your help!

Now it works: I forget to change format:

and the Location:

Then by setting non-unicode language to Persian and using ANSI,1 option it works perfectly:

Thank you !!! 🙂

A presto!!!
