There is a specific chapter in PcVue help regarding the supervisor and Windows User Rights. It is reminded that the user who starts the Supervisor must have the Modify Permission for the installation folders.
It is not done by default for security reason of course. The default rights are:
Administrators group -> Full rights
Users group -> Read-only
On a recent Windows server OS, even if the connected user is a member of the Administrators group, he is considered as a normal user by the system. As a consequence he don't have the necessary rights on the folder and can't start PcVue.
To be able to start PcVue you can give 'Modify' rights to the connected user but the best practice is to create a group (named PcVue for example), give 'Modify' rights to this group and add the current user into it. A reboot is then necessary.
An article into hte kb will probably be done following an email from NK.

Thanks, Ludo. Please note that the same is true for other executables from the PcVue ecosystem such as svTS.exe...
I am particularly mentioning this file because it gave us some additional headache on a customer site a few days ago.
