I propose to you a new utility to check and configure IIS.

Its interest is to be standalone, so you can use it to modify or upgrade a PcVue already installed, by adding Web components.

Please have a look.
And feel free to send me back all your remarks (dysfunction, ergonomy, NULL STRING and so on)

:cheer:

Nice tool with the possibility to select the version.

Can you add old versions 8, 9, 10?

Can you add the possibility to save and restore a local configuration?

Thanks Ludo 🙂

1 - Can you add old versions 8, 9, 10?
It is possible to add PcVue versions, new OS, etc.
- Concerning IIS check: just do it
- Concerning IIS configuration: for OS previous Windows 7 / Windows Server 2008 R2, I have to find a way to configure. It is so not so easy
I will do my possible, in my "free" time

2 - Can you add the possibility to save and restore a local configuration?
Maybe I don't understand your question ... Do you talk about saving and restoring a local IIS configuration ?
If yes, the only way I know to save and restore system configuration is to use VMWare workstation and use snapshots.

For the second point it is actually to save my host machine IIS configuration before testing your tool.

But it can be used in a VM as you said and then it is easier to save the VM before. Anyway it is not important. I imagine I can also deactivate IIS and use your tool again if needed. If no one else is requesting that don't loose your time ^^

So, I confirm that, to do what you want, the solution is to use WMWare Workstation and SnapShots
