Hi,
A laptop with win 10 home updated to win 11 home. Only the license utility was installed on this laptop but after the update, the path of license utility is noticed as "C:Program Files (x86)ARC InformatiqueLicense Utility"
But I am not sure what was the path before. Is it a forced location change by windows or it is the default path of License Utility installation?
Hi Tijo,
FIrst of all, the Home edition is not supported by PcVue (including licence utility) and also W11.
But to give you answer, LicUtil is situated, by default, in "C:ARC InformatiquePcVue nBin" (same path as PcVue).
Hope it helps.

Yes my understanding is also like that, But after updating to Windows 11, I noticed its location as
Hello,
Both of you are correct.
If you have done the default PcVue installation, then the default install directory for License Utility is in the PcVue Bin directory.
The shortcut for this is normally created at this path:
C:ProgramDataMicrosoftWindowsStart MenuProgramsARC InformatiqueTools
If you check the shortcut property, it is actually referring to LicUtil from the bin directory:
"C:ARC InformatiquePcVue 15BinLicUtil.exe"
If you have installed License Utility manually using the standalone installer, or PcVue Full DVD, then it is installed by default in Program Folder.
The shortcut for this is created at path:
C:ProgramDataMicrosoftWindowsStart MenuProgramsARC Informatique
The property of this shortcut is referring to LicUtil from the Program Files directory:
"C:Program Files (x86)ARC InformatiqueLicense UtilityLicUtil.exe"
Yes, you are right. In my machine, I installed only License utility from the standalone installer 😉
