Ciao a tutti! 😉
I need to advise one of my customer about the hardware requirements of his new server with PcVue 11 & many clients on Remote Desktop Services (nicknamed WTS - Windows Terminal Server - for friends 😆 )
When we started to run PcVue over WTS (version 8.0 & Windows Server 2003) I remember that we raccomended to reserve at least 256 MB of Ram for each remote desktop session + 1 GB of RAM for the server session.
But now, in version 11 & with Windows Server 2012, what are the updated parameters?
And in terms of amounts of CPU cores?
I think that this value could be related to the size of the project (basically the RAM consumption of SV32.exe when the project is launched as client) but what about Windows needs?
Feedback about experiences with PcVue 10/11 in RDS environment & many RD clients are welcome!
